Please grade my food list..

as I have posted I am an old RNy 2004 and have gained 50 lbs due to injury and inability to exercise..saw surgeon yesterday and we talked about revision but I am going to try this on my own for two weeks..that is when I will have my scope to see if my pouch has stretched..please tell me what you think about what I have ate today.

Breakfast boiled egg
yogurt lite
coffee

snack
protein drink

lunch
Wendy's chili
4 crackers
 
snack
2 string cheese
cashew's

dinner
probably have more chili and 4 crackers.

have munched on celery today one stick with peanut butter

have had all my water..

I have a horrible cold so nothing sounds good or taste good might have some cottage cheese later for a snack..
How am I doing for restarting my WL

used hand weights exercised my arms and if I can breath long enough..LOL I am going to get on treadmill 15 minutes..

thanks so much please tell me what I have done right and wrong..I need all the help I can get ...I really dont want to have revision if I can do it on my own..my surgeon said that it sounds like my pouch maybe be ok it is just I am eating wrong things..empty carbs..like chips and popcorn..etc..

Just my personal choices but I avoid all white carbs. What kind of crackers are you eating? I find that refined carbs like saltines just make me crave more refined carbs. I use whole grain rye crackers, 2 a day at most.
If you have been having problems with your food it might not hurt to do a carb detox.

You are right about the carbs...since I had stopped watching what I eat..I crave carbs..thanks another good point..

I hear a lot about the 5 day pouch test and while I don't know a lot about it one thing I do like is that it is a start for carb detoxing.

Are you weighing and measuring your food? Keeping a food log?  So  you know how many calories, how much carbohydrate, fat, and protein that you are taking in? Cashews? How many? They are high calorie, high fat, and small amounts go a long way. I agree, with too much snacking. How many calories, carbs, grams of protein are you aiming for each day?

"Lite yogurt", unless it is greek yogurt, it is high in sugar and carbs, and not a real good protein source.

Well I havent got it completely right yet..but will do better tomorrow..remember I have been eating like a pig for a while now..so I am easing into this..I have to admit I am a little hungry right now..I know I probably need to eat like some chicken and veggies..something filling..seems as though I havent felt full at anytiime today..will do better tomorrow though..thanks everyone..
