I am writing as I get ready to walk out the door for my 6 month check up. All labs have been done and now I wait to see where my levels are at.
Still doing homework, fighting DS#1 and the works. Hopefully the delay on base wont bee too bad today. Everyone chime in, What are you doing today???

Good morning Stacey!   I need to go to the grocery store for a few items.  Need to make a vitamin run also.  Other than that, no plans.  Have a great weekend!  Cindy

It's  raining icy cold rain (I'm thinking  only a gardener could get excited about this  LOL )  !

That means the last of the snow is gone  from my north -facing Perennial border and I'm just DYING to get out there n clean it up ( and finish putting up the little  greenhouse  which is framed but  not  yet covered )  As soon as it GETS covered the  soil in the two raised  beds  will thaw magically  and  it will be TROPICAL  in there  .... thanks to the SUN  .

I'm meeting with clients from around the world because my jewelry show starts this Sunday  ...

My broccoli and  swiss chard seedlings are up  after  4 days on the heating mat  and I am water ing them every morning  with a turkey baster ....  hope the landlord  will be able to manage and won't forget  ****er the second flat  of seedlings which arent showing their heads yet lol ....

Have two  more  little  wondowsill greenhouses  full of Jiffy  pots to start  that fit on the heating mat next to the chard/ broccoli flat ...  the day is pregnant with possibilities -  flowers ?   fruit ? ( 24 tiny  fruited  but everbearing  and distinctively  flavored  Alpine strawberry plants  ?)  or maybe Belgian purple  Brussels  sprouts which  I love to  grow at home and pick and cook  as tender  babies  the size of dimes ?   oh the hard DECISIONS ......

Finishing my packing and moving and cleaning...

May spend my last night at the condo tonight and maybe go out with a girlfriend.  We'll see.

I also am thinking of going to VS and buying me a new bra.  I can wear bras now, but all I have are with underwires and they irritate my incision... so one without an underwire (and I don't need them anymore - woohoo!)

Maybe going to Best Buy and buying a new washer and dryer...

I'd better get moving.  Lots to do and not enough time..

before U do Best Buy  ( which is  purely retail prices  Jody )  I would consider  looking online  for the nearest
ding center  .... Sears  has them  as do  the big box stores  like  Lowes  .    This  is where they take  appliances  that were ordered and rejected thanks to a small dent  ...  or  were showroom samples  or were just extra  orders of last years model  offered at a great price from the factory .  Since  washers and dryers change so little  a place like this  can actually save U   50% or more  -  is DEFINITELY worth the drive  ( especially if U have a pickup and the  ability to carry  U r prizes home ) .

U won't believe  the difference  in the prices .

Post Op Day 11, still at home.
Each day my protein count has gone up, but today I want to hit my goal of 65 grams. I broke out the coffee maker so I could do a couple protein coffees. That should tip me into success.

Ava has me wanting to walk my gardens and see if any of the bulbs are peeping out. It's raining here, but above 60 degrees.

I may make my post-op maiden voyage to our country post office today (about a mile).  Doc said I could drive when I was off pain meds (check), could turn my head left and right (check), and could stomp on the brake REAL hard (I'll check that in the driveway).

Other than that, gotta finish the latest round of thank you cards for all the kindesses many folks have shown me in the past two weeks.... my knitting group send me a prayer shawl on Tuesday, made me bawl like a baby as I was opening it.  And, my living room is so full of flower arrangements I can smell the Asiatic lilies all the way in here (the study).

I COOKED (not defrosted) chili  for DH last night, and will cook Italian sausage with peppers and onions for him tonite.

Such BIG plans!

I had an exciting morning.   3 loads of laundry, loaded the dishwasher, scrubbed floors.  Going to work this afternoon.  I lead such an exciting life.  NOT! lol
