Thursday Fashion Post
I hit my personal weight goal last week and went shopping over the weekend. I bought 2 pairs of skinny jeans, size 2P and 3/4, some bras and panties that fit, a cool pair of boots that fit, and a couple of tops. I have to return some pants that I bought, because, if I lose another 8 lbs, they will be too big. Where do people that weigh 110 lbs buy clothes that fit? I saw my PCP today, and he thought 110 might be an ideal weight for me, since I am only 4'11." I'll give it a whirl, since the weight seems to be dropping, so I'll continue to do what I'm doing and see how close to 110 lbs that I can get. I was actually 117.5 on my scale this AM and 118.8 lbs at the office.
Shopping is so much fun, now that things fit, but I have trouble imagining or seeing myself as small. It does take the head awhile to catch up with the body.
I also have four furballs that give me alot of furballs on my clothes.

I dont think theyre a particularly junior cut in terms of rise .. theyre right below the belly button....
I would call the tailoring style conservative MIssy actually

These are definitely my go- to jeans when i feel too fat to wear low rises or unforgiving jeans w/out spandex ....or am just going to home depot, the backyard , the grocery store or my construction site ...
incidentally rises are RISING Mom jeans are coming back .. ( well to a DEGREE ..that DOESNT mean wear Ur big - thighed baggy looking small jeans from the eighties and imagine they look current lol ....) please don't forget SPANDEX and LYCRA were added to denim in the intervening three decades ( a fashion LIFETIME or even THREE ) !!!!!!!!
The MC Hammer look is definitely still OUT lol ....
Thank you for the tip on jeans at Wal-Mart. I am only 4'11, so everything is long on me. My PCP would like me down to 110, which will put me in an even smaller size. Where do small people buy clothes? Maybe, I'll have to start checking out the junior dept, but I'm older, so some of styles may not be appropriate. I would rather have this problem, than be 210 lbs at 4'11."
Spandex is great!!! My old jeans are definitely big-thighed baggy looking, which I can't wear any longer. I prefer the modern waist, hitting just below the belly button, since my waist seems to be large.
I love your fashion tips!!!

I'm having clothes issues at my house. My husband has so many clothes that we don't have a place for them. I'm so tired of baskets of clean laundry in my bedroom. He won't go through his clothes and get rid of anything.
We have a house with HUGE closets and he has 2 of them. No room left in them and I'm so selfish, I won't give him space in mine.
I try to ignore it, but one has week a month, I want to take all the stuff that doesn't have a place and just get rid of it. It doesn't help, that I am the Queen of Purging my closet these days.
DH has many fine qualities, so I try not to whine about this. It is that week though.

I pulled the stuff out ( one closet at a time and said - Ok we're going to have a try on session....
I made him try EVERY SINGLE piece on ... ( that is AFTER I winnowed out 95% for ugly color , polyester content , stretched out worn n faded .... )
MUST I tell U that 9 out of TEN didnt even FIT ? ( and if they did they fit correctly in the EIGHTIES ?!!! )
he ended up keeping maybe five pieces .... and five garbege bags full wentto the curb where they BELONGED .
Incidentally he doesnt show up looking like bozo the clown these days either .. because I gave him some clothes from Brooks I helped design ... which he ( and everyone he knows ) tells him make him look REALLY good .
So he's a PROUD boy ... I'm not ashamed to be seen with him ... and even the closets look neat ;)
To get the fuzzy balls off use a razor...like a woman's or mans throw away kind. Get ones that have 2 blades...but be very careful when you use it not to cut the fabric. But I use it and it works great for me, It does take a bit of time not to long but if you have clothing item you love then to me its worth it :)
As for the laundry and men----my friend gave me the best suggestion. Since I can't trust hubby to do the laundry right, I do it all, BUT in return he has to do all the toilets. I think that's a fair exchange.
And I only shrunk one of his wool sweaters. Still think it's his fault for putting it in the wash anyway. LOL
