Since he is a surgeon and operate is what they do, it will be interesting to see if he suggest a revision or going back to using your tool you already have.

I understand about the mobility issues.  When I started gaining was after a hip problem that made me stop running.  It was down hill and a viscious circle after that.  Good luck.

Have you met with a PT or trainer to look at lower body exercises that could help the mobility or upper body exercises that may help burn fat?

Well went to see my surgeon and explained to him my mobility issures..and of course I am not eating right .I know that..he has scheduled me for scope to see if stomach has stretched much..also going to have colonoscopy at same time..need to get that over with..then we will take it from their..he said lap band is what he would suggest if it has stretched..so I a going to start eating right, giving up caffiene and soda.eat proteins first at mean time and get my ounces of water in and star vitamins again ans see what I can do on my own..if no success then will see about the lap band...I don't really hear a lot of good news about the band..only time will tell what will happen..any advise I will listen..thanks..

Can you swim? ... I dislocated my hip and fractured/chipped the ball  in 2001 and used swimming to hold off weight gain.

I love this site..and everyones advice is so great..I am having endoscopy in two weeks to see if the pouch has stretched a lot..if so dr mentioned lap band..what do you guys think of lap band..that is what I wanted in 04 when I had RNY but my ins. would not pay for it..I lost 100 lbs..dr only projected 70..I am 5'6 larger boned and I weighed 240 at that time..I lost 100 lbs in 9 months..lost it fast..was so happy and now I am back up to 214 well that is what the scale said at dr office..they have to be lying..not...I am going to try for the next two weeks to get back to basics..and see what happends..I would rather loose on my on..but will still have scope just to make sure things are ok and make sure pouch is not really stretched big..then if I want maybe I can have to lap band..but for the next two weeks I am going to stay on here and see what everyone is eating and copy everyone..thanks for all th advice everyone gives it sure helps.
