Not so much anymore, but I do like buying my probiotics there.
I buy a lot of my stuff now from Vitamin World. I like their protein and they also have a return policy, and I've even used it. The lady wasn't too happy, but she took it anyway once I called her out on the policy and asked if she wanted me to go to management or ever see me in the store again!
Also Vitamin World gives me better discounts and a program where I get coupons and money back... I do have the GNC gold card, but don't like I can only use it the first week of the month. I used to buy all my protein there, but will only in an emergency situation. I currently have about 8 tubs of protein, so I don't think that's going to happen any time soon!

Aha! Good point. Although my nut said that the isolate was what was recommended if a patient could not tolerate the other. I opted to just start out with it and stick with it, rather than take the chance of wasting money on something I coudn't use. You can find isolate in cookies & cream, mint cookie, Orange Creme, and Chocolate Chip cookie dough flavors...
This is the description of some of the ingredients in the Dessert.
Other Ingredients: A sustained release multi-functional micellar protein matrix comprised of: (Milk Protein Concentrate, Ultrafiltered Whey Protein Concentrate [Milk] Rich in Alpha-Lactalbumin, Microfiltered Whey Protein Isolate [Milk] Rich in Whey Isolate Peptide Fractions, Micellar alpha and beta caseins and caseinates [Milk], Egg Albumen [Egg], Calcium Caseinate [from milk]), Maltodextrin, Corn Syrup Solids, Natural and Artificial Flavors, Vegetable Gum, Xanthan Gum, Carrageenan, Sucralose, Mono & Diglycerides, sodium alginate, Lecithin (Soy)
It does say Isolate or is this not the right kind?
Thanks
Kim

It does say isolate.
My nut's recommendation is that isolate be the first ingredient for the first six months to a year because it's more eaily digestible/absorbable. After that, concentrate or blend is fine.
Other offices say it's ok to start with concentrates or blends. As long as it's not hydrolized (which is fake speak for collagen), it's probably ok.

There is a difference in "good" carbs and "bad" carbs and I consider the carbs in my Protein drinks "good" so I don't worry about those. "Bad" carbs are bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, etc. "Good" carbs are fruits, vegetables, milk, my protein drinks, nuts etc.
Your tastes will change after surgery for awhile so I would try to finish those up and then buy samples for afterwards. Everything tasted extremely strong, fruity, salty, etc. to me so I couldn't even drink what I bought beforehand.
I usually use about 40 grams in my morning drink because I consider it my breakfast and then 1 scoop in each one I drink between meals.
