??? Gall Bladder attack
They hurt.
But from what I've read, different people have different symptoms. Mine was in my lower left part of my back, which the Dr vehemently denied - uh huh.
It can actually double you over it can be so painful. Very sore type of feeling too. My gallstones would keep clogging the exit ramp, then relax and fall back into the gallbladder - then it would be sore. I used a heating pad and that helped some.
Greasy foods can be a trigger - but its not uncommon for WLS folks to lose theirs because of their very restrictive diet. I lost mine after doing Optifast in the early 90's.

My back hurt but mostly I felt like I had a brick under my ribs on the right side. Awful. Had it taken out as soon as I could. Mine started when I was around 40 and had lost 60 lbs. Middle age, weight loss women are prime candidates.

I had my first gall bladder attack right after I had my daughter (10 years ago). It was honestly the WORST pain I've ever felt! .....MUCH worse than labor pains because the pain is continual and constant until the attack is over (usually 30-45 minutes). NOTHING makes it feel better--I tried lying down, walking it off, bending over, etc.
My pain was actually in my upper back, between my shoulder blades. My first attack was in August and then I didn't have another one until October....THEN they started coming more frequently...usually after a high fat meal. FINALLY right before I had the gall bladder removed I couldn't digest ANY food....I would throw up everything! It really was miserable.
If you truly think it's your gall bladder, get your doctor to order an ultra sound ASAP and then schedule your surgery....it will just get worse and worse until you get it removed. Also, get a prescription for some narcotics for those attacks...Tylenol won't touch the pain!
BEST WISHES!!!

Mine hurt in different places-back around to middle of chest, but it was a pain that would not let me sit or lie down. I just wanted to go to the ER and get something to knock me out. It also made me sick at my stomach sometimes.
My daughter just had to have her gall bladder out. Your other post said you had been on birth control. She was on Yaz(I think that is right). There is some info that this could also cause gall bladder problems.
Let us know what your doctor tells you.
