I wanted to go a honey brown colour a couple of years ago but it would have killed my hair to strip out the dark brown I'd been dying it for years so I gave up on that idea and went black instead.

First  off let me say I like the darker hair!  I'd love to see you go even bolder.  Remember having a unique look is more important than having a familiar one.  Why fall in with the masses when you can stand out!!  I hope you give the DARK hair with blue highlights a shot.....I think it would be so interesting!

I was a blonde my whole life and decided to darken it up in stages too.....I love the level 2 with red highlights I have now the best.  It looks great with tan skin and looks stunning with pale skin.  I also have a greenish hazel eye color and I think they "pop" more with the dark colors,

You'd look good--no great-- with a bag of ashes thrown in your hair, and you wearing a sack.
Yeah, go ahead and start wearing ashes in your hair, but give me time to buy stock in an ash company first before everyone runs out and starts copying you....

With your skin tone and eyebrow color have you considered simple highlights to send you toward a shade of auburn?

Funny ... I've always thought of Kirsten Dunst when I see your pictures. You might want to give some thought to red hightlihgts sometime. I do like the new color though.
