April all three of those factors are SO COOL ! OF COURSE U HAVE to blow their socks off ! ( and U WILL ! !! )
i misunderstood U at first because i thought U were the Bride !
being Maid of Honor is lucky because you are the One person in the wedding party ( other than the bride ) who CAN dress a little differently - so thank God , U CAN wait .
I would talk to the bride about it and promise to let her help pick out Ur complementing dress in the fall ....if this particular style is not available .
I think Ull feel a LOT better in something that FITS U And flatters U frankly . If she won't go for it , well I'd probably order a 6 or maximum an 8 .
Take a good honest look at Ur eating habits . Are U READY to give up full fat cheese and butter and oive oil to cook with ( and chorizo and nuts and bacon) or are U hesitant ?
Have U had problems giving up fats in the past ? if U have I would say Ur weight loss will be a lot slower ... and U might want to even consider a 10 .
the other side is what's Ur history / determination level concerning exercise ? Some of us come into WLS with an extensive history of athletics and exercise trying ( futilely ) to keep our weight from creeping up . We have a GREAT advantage post op . If thats U and U are determined that U will exercise every day ... go ahead and order that 6 . It might well turn into a 4 or even a 2 ..
Now also please keep in mind that Ur rib cage IS larger and U may have some excess skin around Ur middle at the 8 month point .... so unless U carry all Ur weight in Ur butt ... U may NEED to get a size larger if the smallest point of the dress is right above the natural waist .
I work as a model and i wear size 0 jeans and 2 jackets but I have to get a size 6 empire waist dress because my rib cage is that much bigger .....
