I FIGURED IT OUT!!!

After my post the other day about giving up, I realized that I cant give up!
I have come too darned far to stop trying now. What have I done different???
Started listing things I was doing different..... nothing came to mind except..
I started a new Birth Control about 3 months ago to control my periods. I have ALWAYS had issues with Birth Control in the past ( I got 4 kids dont I)  and have never been able to take it.
I quit taking it, plain and simple. I have not taken it now in a week.
I also spoke with my PCP about it and he agreed to attempt it among a few other things.
Ready for this.
I hit 147 today!!! I am so surprised, now I am NOT saying it is official but pretty convincing that it was the issue. I was bouncing between 150 and 154 for over 2 months.

What I am still doing, seeing a therapist, posting in menus everyday and getting outside more.
Depression is still hitting a little but I am beating it again and I will WIN this time. I am not quitting on ME again.

Thank you everyone for your help and support, you really do not know how much it means to me.

I am so happy for you that your stall broke (dang meds) and even happier that you remembered you are worth not giving up.   You have come so far and are worth every minute of effort you put into this process.

Good for you!  I bet it was the new BC pill... I'm glad you figured it out - thats something I'd never have thought of (since I don't have to use them).

No more giving up!  With our tool it kinda keeps us in check anyway, but the farther out you get the easier it is to do...

You'll hit your goal!  Just be careful so kid #5 doesn't happen (unless you really want it to!)  LOL

DH had the snip snip about 4 years ago, we are safe in that department, I just needed and wanted to get my cycles under control. Forget it now if it means not losing the weight....... Looking at it though as a good way to maintain when I hit goal LOL

Good for you, for not giving up and finding out the contributing factor might have been. Hormones can be very disruptive for moods and weight issues. I hope your mood continues to improve.

Congratulations on hitting 147 lbs!!!!! May it continue.

I'm so glad you figured that out and that stopping made a difference.  Take care of yourself.
