OT - Emerald Island, NC

Thinking about a week there this summer???  On the beach - good rates for a condo.  Anybody been there????

I went there in my misspent youth.  Several times with my best friend and her family when I was growing up.  The summer before my senior year of high school my best friend and I went by ourselves.  (I'm not sure who lets two 17 year old girls go to the beach alone besides our parents.  They saw us as good kids).  

It was 30 years ago.  I'm not much help, but you brought back some great memories for me.

I have family in Raleigh that go every summer and I'm debating on asking if they know someone with a condo --- then I'll have to stop by for a visit!  =)
