Monday - Where in the World is Gina?
Joy, sorry your sleevie is upset about Lamb Chop. Ruthie, I can raise you one on the lamb thing. I have 1/2 a fresh lamb in the freezer. With all my sheepherder friends, I always have lamb in the freezer. And my husband doesn't eat it.
Well, if SeerSha doesn't like lamb, I'll be visiting the local food bank or homeless men's shelter I guess.

we live 2 hours SOUTH of DC. The county was founded in 1634, and isolated until the 1930's when a navy base was built here. Although St. Mary's is now a high tech area, it's still very rural 5 miles beyond the navy base. We live in the rural part of the county, and are priivy to the lives of a pair of resident bald eagles, several pair of hawks, and the standard woodland wildlife like raccoons, foxes, deer. This weekend I watched a hawk eat dinner at the bird feeder outside my kitchen window.
Here are some photos from our St. Mary's County tour site

we're home to the national oyster shucking competition, Historic St. Mary's City, a Blue Crab Festival, the US Navy Test Pilot School ( Most of the astronauts come through here for training. ), and Southern Maryland Stuffed Ham.

Ooooh! I love the photo galleries. The B&B's are to die for. Looks like a slice of heaven to me Tracey. Would like to see pics from your kitchen window sometime though.
Keith is from Ohio and we miss the cultural aspects, the Amish, the terrain, and the wonderful storms. It was the fluctuating barometric pressure from the storms that drove us away though and we (at least he) could never go back without expecting to be in recovery mode 7/8's of his life instead of just 50% like he is now.
Love it Love it Love it.

Keith's a 100% disabled Vet with neurological issues from exposure during Desert Storm. Storms moving through wreak havoc with his nerves and he ends up in a fetal crunch on the floor... very painful. Well, at least he used to all the time. In 2005 he qualified to have a Medtronic Infusion pump implanted under his hip, which distributes his pain & nerve meds directly to the spinal column to treat the problem focally where it starts rather than try to treat the symptoms (unsuccessfully). When he turns the wrong way, lifts something too heavy, sleeps wrong, or the weather is changing... he has reoccurences of the symptoms to varying degrees. And all that is out here in Arizona where it's the best it's been so far. ha!
So, it's those episodes that put him into recovery mode.
Kapeesh Chicky?

Today is the day I get off my hiney and start walking outside come rain or shine. I've been pouting because DH was supposed to have my new PS3 hooked up so I could Zumba, Stretch, Yoga, the Bean all in the comfort of my home... silly man forgot I needed a dedicated TV that would support the PS3 blueray, high def, stuff. PS3 is sitting there dead in the water... staying at me with blank wide open eyes.... :-(
LOL
I did walk yesterday during a great little snow flurry we had, but need to leave the dogs at home so I can walk into unfamiliar territory without fear of altercations between canines. Today's the day... pedometer is poised and ready for action. 10,000 steps or until my hip makes me stop. ROFL!!
Have a great day y'all!
