Monday - Where in the World is Gina?
Good Morning!
I know that Gina is cruising, but I have no idea where she was going? Anyone know? I hope this is her perfect vacation. I know she'll be stalking all those coffee spots for protein coffee. :)
I had a great weekend. Some good WLS friends came to help me celebrate my 1 year surgiversary. Once I get their permission, I'll post some pictures!
I've had an unhappy Sleevie for several days now. I've even had to resort to a tylenol for headache pain for the first time in a year. I've been waking up with swollen eyes and a headache since last Wednesday but can't pinpoint what's going on. Sleevie isn't happy with foods that it liked a week ago. I'm sure it will clear up, whatever the heck it is.
I have three days of meetings starting today. I don't own a single wool suit anymore. Eeek. I've replaced a lot of clothing but haven't gone that route yet. I'm generally very casual in the office, cords and a cashmere sweater or cute shirt is about as dressy as I get. I'd better get creative this morning!
Anything exciting going on for you this week? Any challenges? Anything in particular to look forward to? Anything to report in to us LW's about your weekend?

Its fashion week and im feeling fat ! All these seventy pound six foot tall people make me feel well ... pretty gosh darn inadequate especially as I really slacked off running this winter . Still I'm really glad I'm showing my face and that Im THERE .. ( and working though not on the runway )
Im once again determined to do what I have to plastics wise to get these empty fat cells off and feel better about the way I look ...

Wow Ava, I'm sorry those 70 pounders are making you crazy. It sounds like a great opportunity to practice loving yourself unconditionally. I don't say that lightly because I struggle with it daily. Everytime I see someone at goal, I have to take a deep breath and remind myself that I deserve better than self hatred. It's hard to hate ourselves when we're finding things to appreciate about ourselves.
Sending you huge, gigantic, hugs! Enjoy fashion week. You're so beautiful and I bet you'd be surprised at how many women are jealous of your incredible look!

Hi Lee
I can't remember where she said she was cruising to. Somewhere warm though!
I have today off since its a holiday. Packing up my place and moving... always a chore. A little overwhelming too even with all the big stuff gone - with all the other stuff still left.
I vow to stay on track and be organized!!

Hey Jody, congrats on the day off! Please please please be careful of lifting. You really can't afford to screw up the handywork of your terrific surgeon. The little stuff is the hardest to pack, in my opinion.
Ok, you'll stay on track, hydrate, remember to eat and down vitamins and organize the heck out of that place. :)

Lee, I heard rumors they were on the Destiny out of Miami and that is a Carnival Cruise ship so that may help you find her. I MAY be wrong but that is what I saw in one post on the DS board.
The sleeve part of my DS has been giving me fits too. I can't seem to find a happy medium. It's usually too full of liquids and gurgling at me. And if I start with food, vitamins have to wait a good half hour to even begin to start on.
And I've been watching DIY while I work on my computer.....getting ideas for my new house (which is at least 2-3 years away)

Lee, you have my permission to post any pictures of me. So glad someone can do things with pictures on the computer. Thank you for hosting a wonderful evening.
Whatever you wear, you will look fabulous. I appreciated your input on self love. Still so hard for me. After all my years of life, I still obsess about flaws, not victories. Such a waste of time.
Hope your sleevie improves. You have done so well, maybe it needs to remind you it's there, like a needy child. You may be a slow loser, but you are successful. And you are brilliant at providing support.
My challenge this week is that I meet with a trainer today at the gym. It will cost more than I figured, but I can use some of my plastic surgery fund. If I don't lose the weight, having a fund won't matter. I'm surprised I am so nervous.
Hope everyone has a good week, meeting challenges and having some fun!
