I've numbered the days post surgery to keep me focused.
Only weigh myself once a week (don't own a scale) to keep my sanity.

Today I crossed both the 200 barrier and the 1/3 of the way to goal mark ... 198.6.  Yeah!!!

I counted down to surgery but since then have lost track.  Good for you.  Your are getting closer and closer to goal.

Congrats Amy, weigh to go on both your 33% completion in less than 9 weeks. WOW.  And you're in Onederland....!!!

Oh goodies, another Sleever for me to run to when I have questions.
How have those 56 days been for you?  Steady slide down, upandown, good days and bad, all good, what?  I'm on day 6 post op, so I'm always asking "What's it like for YOU?"

Take care and thank you SOOOO much for posting.  Every time someone who I can relate to posts I feel better.

Tracey,

Feel free to ask anything you want :-)

I think I've had it very easy in terms of recovery.  I had surgery on a Tuesday and drove my sister to the airport on Friday morning.  I took 2 weeks off from work and was glad cuz it allowed me the opportunity to walk and sleep, by the end of week 2, I walked about 9 miles one afternoon.
I started running about week 5 (Couch to 5K)

I get worried the week before my period starts that there isn't enough restriction and that I'm not gonna be able to do this :-)

Been trying to stay < 800 calories, > 70g protein, < 40g carbs ... I know that carbs slow weight loss for me and make me hungrier.   I drink enough fluids that I barely make it through an hour without a trip to the restroom (I think my bladder got reduced with my stomach)

I lost 9lbs pre-op (day of consult to day of surgery, i'm self pay) , but I took almost 4 weeks to do that. My weeks have been all over the place, even though I think I've been fairly consistent, only start food logging in the last few weeks.  I only weigh myself on Mondays (so I really don't know what happens to my weight in between Mondays)

Week 1:  7.6
Week 2:  2
Week 3:  1.2
Week 4:  4.8

Week 5:  0.8
Week 6:  2.8
Week 7:  1.2
Week 8:  4.6
