Yeah, I know that feeling, When dh and I were getting married, I sent my furbabies out to him before the wedding so they would get acclimated and we wouldn't have to deal with three cats on the honeymoon. I spent three weeks without them.

Have fun in the sun, Gina...we will try and behave :)

My husband and I want a little doggie sooooo bad. He's laid off right now, but our jobs kept us away from home long hours.  We just didn't feel it was right to leave a dog for 10-11 hours.

He's been on the hunt for a dog, but I'm veto'g it until we know what his next job situation is. Still . . . I miss having a dog around.

Yes, the worst part of my work travel is leaving my two wonder-kitties, Wellstone and Querida. If I ever figure out how to post photos, I have some real beauties to share.

Gina, I hope you just let go and relax. That is what cruises are all about. Not as exciting but I am ready to go to FL today (crossing my fingers that the weather in Chicago will cooperate!).

Gina,
It's good to hear from you but I thought you were going to be incognito on the ship!
My furbaby is a 13 year old toy poodle.  Phantom did not take well to DH when we first met. DH took his place on the bed!  Now DH cuddles him like a baby so I get to see how good he will be with grandchildren.
I think it will be a while though before that happens.   My stepdaughter is getting divorced after only a year and a half and my daughter is only 21 and in school.  Which reminds me--three years ago hubby and i took a cruise to Alaska and i figured out they had wifi on board. Big mistake!  I opened up an email from my then 17 year old to learn that she thought she was pregnant!  OMG that put a damper on the cruise!
Life goes on!!

Have a blast on the cruise but don't get talked into braiding your hair LOL

My Sunday is filled with my grandbaby today.  He spent the night.  I just got him down for his morning nap.  He's got such a good nature.

My furry baby (cat Mimi) doesn't like people in the house and hides from him.  It is kind of funny.

Meeting DS for lunch and baby hand-off.

Have a great time, Gina!! :) I know how you feel--we bring my Pugs to the younger Pug's breeder for Pug camp when we go on vacation, and while I know they will have a FANTASTIC time with "grandma," it's so empty in the house without them!! They will be so happy to see you when you come back. :)

Have lots of cruise fun.  If you don't braid your hair, at least get a fake tattoo.  The fur babies are at camp too (that's what we call it at my house), so they'll be just fine.

We are all such a bunch of saps... gotta luv those fur babies though!!  My kitties are 16 years old and going strong, the eccentric terrer and incorigable Beagle are both around 10 we think... hard to tell with Rescues.  Plus, the Golden Nuggets kibble we buy from CostCo keeps their teeth so free of tartar that the VET can't tell their age that way. haha

Time to bundle up and take them and me for a walk.  The sun is shining but there are snow flurries too so it should be beautiful.  Have a wonderful cruise Gina and everybody else a Fabulous day!
