You are not weird. Mine doesn't either. I really never heard of it being a problem for people until today. It just shows that everyone really is a little different.

I had an RNY.  For me the tummy rumble is a sign that everything is flowing through my system properly.  When I don't hear/feel it, I know what I just ate was too dense (not chewed enough, or too full) and may cause me to upchuck.  I actually pause during my meals to make sure the rumbling is still there.  It's sort of a signal for me when to stop eating.  No rumble, no more eat.  The rumbling is more pronouced when I'm eating a pureed food or liquid.

I am like Cheryl with the tummy gurgling. Mine does it when I drink or eat soup, etc... It doesn't do it when I eat ,u dense protein, I imagine because the food empties out very slowly in that case.

What I LOVE is that my stomach doesn't growl anymore between meals!! I used to be so embarrassed when it would at the worse time (like in church). I always carried crackers in my purse just in case. It is wonderful to not feel that gnawing hunger!
