Been sip, sip, sipping so much, my tummy rumbles

I feel like I am so full of liquid that nothing else will fit in. And my tummy likes to rumble at me in lovely musical tones that gurgle.

I'm beginning to HATE my water bottle (which actually has white grape crystal lite in it right now). It's torturing my tiny tummy with liquid!!!!!

Liz - I wish I could say "this too will pass" but I can't. My tummy rumbles to this day when it feels like it. Some days are better than others..

Hang in there... it gets better but never goes away...

Seems like, with me, the gurgling is the only indication I'm having that there is water even in there. Do the liquids and purees truly exit as quick as they enter or is it my imagination that I can put 4 oz. in without feeling anything at all? I'm going to ask for my records at my post-op on Tuesday and find out exactly how big they made my pouch! In the meantime, I guess I'm one of those that has to carefully measure everything or else I'll not lose (like I haven't in the past 3 days). I just knew it was too easy. ROFL!!

Seems like I went from losing a pound a day to losing one every couple of days. Can't lose one a day forever. You will keep losing, I'm sure.You can't feel anything because the nerves were cut. You won't feel full for quite a while. Keep measureing because eating too much is really uncomfortable.

Amen to that! I did not measure my chili on the plane today, and I got so uncomfortable from eating too much. Learned my lesson! .

Thanks Price! I thought I was going to have to ask for a revision because he had SURELY forgotten something. All those incisions and all he did was mess around in there. I tell ya! sheesh!

I'm sorry. My brother is almost a year out and I can hear his belly rumble a lot. I'm glad you are able to get your liquids in, though. Better than being dehydrated, I guess. Hugs!

I'm sorry you are miserable. I'm glad you are getting in your fluids, though. That's a good thing, I just wi**** weren't so uncomfortable for you.

I still do much better with warm liquids instead of cold. And I barely notice my tummy rumbleing any more. Occasionally, but certainly not all the time. Seems to be mostly when I start to drink again after eating, 1/2 to 1 hr later.
