Best Decision of my Life!

I went to see my PCP for my three-month follow up today.  Dr. B has been there for me for years, watching me try again and again to lose the weight.  She was so estatic about my weight loss (on her scale, I am down 50 lbs!).  She had the biggest smile on her face.

I am so excited  - Dr. B took me off my BP meds today.  That's right, goodbye hypertension!  Also, my A1C was 5.5 today.  It was 9.6 last November -  scary.  I am not a diabetic anymore - woo hoo! 

RNY surgery saved my life.  Whatever the hassles, they are nothing compared to the benefits. 

I would have never gotten to this point without you, my dear LW friends. I count you all as blessings in my life.

How exciting!  I can't wait to go back to my PCP....she gets SO excitied about her patients getting healthy.  You have accomplished a LOT in this short time...good for you!

BEING HEALTHY and getting our lives back!....I can't imagine how great it feels to cure your diabetes and hypertension!  What a celebration!!!
