Abby, you've already gotten great advice on the "slow losing", so I'll just JUMP in here and say, AWESOME job at your class.

Measure your accomplishments in the joy that you feel and you can't go wrong.  Slow, fast, plateau, it's all part of your own personal journey.  Don't compare yourself to anyone else.  Put on those blinders when you feel it coming on.  Take joy in everything and love yourself unconditionally because that will last you a lifetime.

Good Job!
I so wish I would of took my measurements before this journey started. I think that is a wonderful idea. As hard as it is try to only weigh in once a week too. You will do this, it will work! Just be proud of yourself and feel good about you! This is such a great tool, and I promise you will get there! One day at a time...........

Thanks so much, Lee! I keep telling myself not to compare, don't compare, DON'T COMPARE, but sometimes it's hard not to! I am going to give my all trying to keep all of this in perspective and realize that my body will do what it wants on its own time. :) And as for loving myself? I'm working on that!! I've booked a trip to Mexico for right after the semester is over because, damnit, I DESERVE a vacation! That's also a slow process, but I will do it. I will relearn to love myself. :)
