Gas Relief in A Strange Way
Thought I'd share a very interesting experience....
As a post-op, I'm suffering from gas pretty bad. I'm doing Gas-X, walking, drinking as much as I can, and not eating anything but clear liquids.
I was just talking to my friend Chris, who is trained in healing touch, and I told her about the gas. She said to spread my hand, palm out, about 3 inches above my stomach, and to "massage" my stomach in a CLOCKWISE motion to release gas. Again, without touching my stomach. She told me why it worked, but I didn't believe with much gusto at first.
UNTIL my gas started tooting out. I still have tons of gas, but this is working reliably.
Weird, but true.
I'm going to see our reflexologist as soon as I can get an appointment. She even said she'd come here. I've been using the oil of grapefruit and the frankinsense as she directed. After I apply them to my feet and palms and my breastbone, my gut calms almost immediately.
But for some folks, this is just too way out there.

Day one in the hospital, I noticed a great stiffness in my back and shoulders. Nobody had to tell me that the gas had drifted downward as I lay on my back in Recovery. Unable to reach it myself, I began a series of shoulder lifts, shoulder rolls, curl ups and curl overs... as much as I could while still in bed and even more so once I was standing and walking. I couldn't hardly ask one of the nurses to do a massage, deep tissue massage at that; so I had to envision healing angels doing it for me. This was easy to do between the deep breaths I needed to take regularly and... the Demerol. ROFL!
Seriously though Tracey, put your hands out palms up, and I'll put mine out palms down. I'm quite sure we could do an energy exchange remotely. My hands have a green aura... of healing... and yours?
