Morning Lovely LW Ladies!
Happy Friday!!
I have a strange question... I carry ALL my stress in my neck / shoulders / lower back, and yesterday woke up with moreso than usual so I went for an hour hips to head massage....
This morning my tummy is now really rumbly, and my abs (which she didn't touch) are just SORE! Like I did 200 planks and crunchies in my sleep??
It's very strange. My whole back and shoulders etc are very sore as well today, which isn't abnormal I don't think, it's just never been something I've experienced after a massage.
I've been going to the same massage therapist for quite a while, and she did say my back to neck were in pretty rough shape riddled with knots and what-not, so I'm not sure if it's just that I haven't been in that bad of shape before I went before?
I don't know. Just really wierd. I find it so strange my abs are soooooo sore.
Anywhoo!! Not sure if it's related, but because y'all are always so knowledgable I figured I would shoot a line out there anyhow :)

Thanks for reading,

Michelle

Maybe by losening up the back, she made everything get moving.  I know I am sore after the chriopracter for a day, then feel much better.  Maybe you were tensing other parts as she worked on the knots.

after a good massage, sometimes i get the rumblies. Especially after a deep massage when even my gut relaxes (even though she doesn't massage it).

I've never ended up with sore abs though.  Possibly you were guarding (crunching all parts of your body) and didn't realize the ab stuff until the back pain relented?

Not sure if the massage is anything to do with the rumbles, I have them a 100% of the time, they are so loud I fear that people next to me will hear. They are just a part of me now and I have learned to live with them. Not sure if the abs hurting and the rumbles go together, you will be able to tell if they suddenly go away, after your abs feel better. Don't fear if they don't, mine didn't start up right away but now I have them everyday...., they shouldn't be hurting you though. If they do, I am not sure what would be going on!
