It's going to be a very busy Saturday, y'all. I'm planning for the cruise but haven't started packing...I do have a list to go by that Tracey sent me. Thank goodness. Everything that I can think of, that hasn't already been done, is doable on Friday and Saturday. Yeah, I like to cut it close.

Anybody else read Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark series? I just put her latest book on my eReader for the cruise. Looking forward to reading it.

What's on your list today?

My day is work with Support Group tonight.  I'm babysitting my grandson on Saturday.  I never get enough time with my grandkids.  He's 13 months and the only one in town.

Its not a cruise {{{Green-Eyed Monster}}}, but I'm looking forward to it.

I hope you have the very best time!

Work.  All the stuff I put off last week so I could play now really needs to be done.  I hope I will get to sneak in a little time with the ponies since it is suppose to warm up again.  Can't ignore February days that get into the 50s.

Working at my salon, and working on my taxes when I am able (Man, I HATE doing taxes!!!!). I will go to zumba this evening... Man, I've got a mundane life. I oughta book a cruise!

Have a good time Gina.

I'm so excited for you, Gina!  Packing for my cruise was one of my favorite parts, maybe, because I got to obsess about bringing *just* the right amount of stuff for the week without checking luggage.  I enjoy that kind of thing.  Did laundry on the ship (which was super easy to do) and that made a world of a difference.

I don't know what I'm going to do today.  That's how it is with me these days; I live moment by moment depending on how much my body is cooperating, thanks to these meds.  Hopefully work followed by a run followed by going out, but we'll see...

Have a great day!

My cruise mantra is "Pack 1/2 as many clothes and twice as much money."

My to do list today is rest, walk, sip.  And try and find something that doesn't irritate my sleeve.
Water seems to sit "heavy," crystal light is a bit painful.  I'm gunna try broth next.

How fantastic for you Gina! Have a blast!!!
Busy weekend here....Saturday is looking for swim suits for the daughter, can't look just yet for mine...even though I am excited to this year. B/A surgery 3-11 so will need to wait till the girls settle to look for a suit. Then Sunday is a swim party for 10 13 yr olds! Look out me! Have a great time again, can't wait to hear the stories!

I found certain things to be painful with my pouch too, Tracey.  Not unmanageable pain, but enough to tell me to try something else because it was an irritant for whatever reason.  I pretty much stuck with water, a dairy protein drink and the lighter colors of jello for the 1st 6 days.  It's getting easier.  At breakfast yesterday I tolerated baby food.  By evening I pureed a Progresso 1/2 sodium Italian Wedding Meatball soup, and boy was that good.  I'm keeping the citrus jello's on hand for back-up.  A nurse gifted me a roll of one ounce medicine cups and now my fridge looks like it's full of jello shots.  LOL

Tracey, I still can't drink straigh****er. I drank a LOT of chicken broth at your point, and a lot of apple juice. Both of those sat very well for me. Fluids are important, so drink what works for you, and don't worry about calories/protein right now, but do worry about fluids, so whatever you need to do to get those fluids in, do it. Also try different temperature liquids. Some say that cold sat better (not for me), some say room temp was the best, and some preferred warm. I preferred warm my first week after surgery.

Good luck! :)
