Pant sizing tip.....
Ok so I wanted to let you ladies in a little trick! When you are out and about trying on clothing and that little voice in your head says to you "REALLY??? You think you can fit yourself into WHAT size???" before you listen to it try this.......
Take the pants off the hanger and holding onto the waistband at the very ends wrap it around your neck! If the ends touch when losely snugg around your neck they will most likely fit in the waist!! If they overlap they are TOO BIG.....If you have a hard time believing this try it the next time you are out shopping. You will eventually find your sweet spot around your neck and beable limit the sizes you take into the changing rooms! This is a trick I learned when garage sailing......without fail......even during weightloss!
In fact........go to your closet now before you post and try it out!! Tell us your results.....make sure you do it with several pairs of pants to see if it isn't an illusion. Oh yeah you will have a different sweet spot for the rise too.....I give a little more for the low rise and less for mid rise......

Ok......Stacey you may need to start looking for the ever popular "skinny fit"......I know it sounds rediculous but I find those to be the best fitting jeans for my lack of butt and thighs and extra pouch.....Regular fit is just to baggy in the butt and legs now. Are you finding there is NO consistancy in where the waist band comes together?? I have different sweet spots for different rises too High waist is tight end to end.....mid-rise is snug touching end to end......low rise is 1/2 inch overlap......ultra low rise is 1 inch overlap. If you can find a commonality somewhere you can make it work for you........you may need to wait until you're in maintainance phase.....like I said I've been using this trick pretty much my whole life......it's a good guidline for me when chosing sizes to try on.....

LOL.......yeah sizing is much different from when we were growing up! I am also 5'7" so what works best for me may not work for you. I also wore a body shaper during my WL phase if I hadn't my trick probably wouldn't have worked quite as well........however I was afaid of skinny jeans then too......until I tried them on and realized a 10 skinny fit way differently than a 10 regular in the butt and legs! It was the difference of sloppy and sexy!!

Stacey, I was trying to wear some of my old jeans and then bought some new ones with the spandex. They really are incredible. Alot of the companies make jeans in various body types, mine is pretty much straight up and down, not alot of waist and I found some that fit great. You're in for an amazing surprise when you go try on new jeans. They fit so much better and are so much more comfortable.
