1 year & 100 pounds w/ pics!

Hi all:    I went for my 1 year post-op yesterday and according to them all is good.  I have officially lost 100 pounds!  I did not think it was going to happen but I got here.  My goal is another 6 lbs.  but I  might change that.  They felt I was fine were I am as I have lost 65% of my excess body weight.  My BMI went down 20 points too.  I am still in the overweight category which is why I might change my goal once I get there But I must admit I am pretty damn happy only being overweight   I am comfortable now in my own skin and the skinniest I have been since Middle school.  It is totally amazing and I thank all of you for the advice you all offer on this board. While I don't post much I read almost every day.

For the newbies, I will admit it was not always easy but it is attainable if you work your tool.  Here are some before and current pics…I say current because they were taken around Christmas and about 10 pounds ago…I guess you could say I am still a work in progress!  Highest Weight

Totally awesome!!! Congratulations!!! Losing 100 lbs is quite an accomplishment. You should feel proud of yourself.

Thank you.  I never thought it would come. But I guess you just have to stay positive and keep at it!
