Protein Coffee
I make a canister of my protein chai tea mix...combination of vanilla protein powder, splenda, skim milk powder and cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg....shake it up to blend. Usually lasts me almost two weeks (one cup every morning).
So if the coffee one works, I will have two yummy starts to my morning....

Protein Hot Chai Mix
6 scoops vanilla protein powder
1.5 cups non-fat powdered milk
3/4 cup Splenda
1T. chai spice mix (or use half cinnamon and half ground ginger)
1t. ground cloves
1t. cardamon (original recipe calls for this, but I don't have any, so skipped it)
Mix all dry ingredients in a covered bowl until well blended. Make a cup of hot tea. Add two heaping tablespoons of mix to the tea. Wisk or blend in Magic Bullet or blender for about 10 seconds. Makes it nice and frothy.
Recipe makes about 12 servings.

Fat: 1g
Carbs: 9g
Protein: 19g

I think if I subsitute chocolate protein and omit the spices...but add a capfull of caramel SF flavouring I think I may have a hit.

I have hot protein vanilla chai decaf every morning. I mix 1/2 cup of milk with a scoop of vanilla protein, a packet of Splenda and a few squirts of whatever sugar free syrup sounds good. I put it in a blender bottle and shake good and use it like a flavored creamer with my decaf vanilla chai tea. I also use it with coffee as a creamer.
Ruthie my dear.......where is the rule book that says you can't enjoy a great cup of decaf??? Warm liquid protien is good!!
