Trying to get the scale moving again
Last week on Oprah I heard s super model say that when she had to shed pounds, she was told fish/water, fish/water, fish/water.
I've been eating a lot more fish (salmon, tilapia, shrimp) since I saw the show last week and i'm seeing the scale move a little. I'm doing it with low carb and eating the fish with low carb veggies, a little cottage cheese/greek yogurt and a few berries to keep it bright. I'm also still eating chicken as well. I'm keeping my total carbs low for the most part.
Good luck!!

When I had pretty much stalled last month, I switched to low carb, protein and low carb veggies. It worked, but maybe my body was just ready to start losing again. Anyway, I'll take it.

When you find out the secret....LET ME KNOW!
I hit 143 about 3 weeks ago and have been between 143 and 146 ever since! I desperately need to see a new number!!!
Ironically, I went for my 6 month check up today (I'm really more like 7 months) and the doctor told me this type of stall is TOTALLY normal! He said I could possible go 6-10 weeks and not lose a pound and then all of sudden have 5 pound month....he assured me that if I stick to the plan and keep my calories between 1000-1500 plus moderate exercise that I will continue to lose but it will be definitely much slower! I did feel MUCH better after talking to him!
Hang in there ladies....seems like we're all about the same place in our journey (surgery sometime last summer) so this much be fairly typical.

It is encouraging to hear that am not the only one! I have been bouncing between 145 & 149 for 2 weeks now. Been journaling my food to see if I was letting bad stuff slip in & trying to squeeze in more exercise (I already do 4 - 650cal burning cardio sessions each week & pilates the other days) & vary the intensity. Getting between 800-1000 cals a day. I am almost wondering if I need to eat a little more? Vit & protein levels are good. Doc says it is all about tweeking as you go. I guess I am in a tweeking phase but damn I want to see the scale move down again!
Good luck to all hang in there :)
