Tomorrow is the day - leave for my 4th and final surgery - iliostomy being reversed
Hello all. I said I would update you all. The time has come and tomorrow am is finally here. My brother is picking me up at 6:45 am to be in NYC at 8:15 am at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. I am really looking forward to this but nervous at the same time. I really can't stand this iliostomy anymore. I am in pain all time and it drives me nuts - I spend so much time in the bathroom.
If all goes well, I should be home this weekend but depending on how things go,there is a chance that I might have to go to a nursing home for rehab for a bit to get my strength back, so we shall see. I will let you know how I am when I get home and I am able to sit at the computer.
This is my last time on the computer until them, so I say goodbye for now. Talk to you all for now. Take care and talk to you soon.

Randi,
I know you won't see this but I am swinging critters and even sending up a few thoughts to whomever watches over you. I'm counting on your surgeon being great and taking wonderful care of you tomorrow. I'll be waiting for your update and hoping that everything is perfect for you and that you can resume life as you knew it before. I really miss your wisdom around here!
