Hi everyone and Happy Valentine's Day! I just found this forum,and after reading some posts I couldn't be happier. I didn't really "get" that I was a lightweight. BMI 37, pre-op 220 lbs,5ft4in. I did realize that I was @ the recieving end of some unsettling hostility. Alot of ppl telling me I wasn't fat enough or they didn't understand how I qualified. I am now 6 mos out on the 18th and 147 lbs. I have never felt better. I look forward to the multitudes of info and support I can see that you all offer. Alyse

Welcome Alyse!!! Yup, I hear ya about the hostility. LucyCat caught me in the main forum and directed me over here before anybody yelled "OFF with her head!!!". haha! She said everybody here was very nice, supportive, and didn't do the drama deal like what happens over on Main Street. LOL I am so very glad she did too. The folks here are wonderful. I asked early on and found out, just in case you didn't know, that there's a Search function on the top of each message board so we can see if our question has already been answered. But, nobody seems to mind if we forget to use it. ;-P Congratulations on your weight loss so far and again, WELCOME!
