30 for 30
Hi everyone. My internet has been a bit spotty lately, so I haven't been on here as often as I'd like, but seems to be fixed, at least for the moment. Anyway, this week was my 30th birthday. I think this "big" birthday was part of what pushed me toward WLS. I wanted to make a change sooner rather than later and not miss out on more than I already felt I had. And I gave myself a great birthday present - - down 30 pounds for my 30th bday! (Actually hit 30 down the day after, but I'll let that count.) Overall I've been doing pretty well. Nervous about introducing new foods from two perspectives - - will it be ok with the band and will it cause me to stop losing. But so far so good. I have my first fill this week, so we'll see how that goes. And I went to my trainer yesterday for the first time since surgery. Boy am I sore today! But in a good way. I went out last night and felt comfortable in what I was wearing. And bought a new sweater at Banana Republic - - it was an XL, but it was from a regular store, so very exciting for me! Anyway, just wanted to share my update.
Good to see you back to know you're doing well. Sounds like you've had some great WOWs! Good luck this week.
