Hi Everyone,

How do you register for a surgery date on OH?

I opened my profile so everyone could see my photos.  I actually have one of my FACE. Gasp!
Take a lookee and see our furbabies, our living room set up for my post-op recovery (I get control of the REMOTE!!), my kitchen counter with supplies, and pantry with foods.  I also have a virtual model of myself at my highest weight. Don't know if you guys know about that website or not...

Thank you all for your kindness. You are all so special, and you mean much to me.

Even though my surgery isn't til Tuesday, I'm leaving in the morning for DC. The hospital wants to cross type my blood to ensure no funky antibodies show up (I already have a rare blood type).  As long as blood is good, DH and a friend are meeting me in DC to spend the night in a hotel a couple miles from the hospital, as we need to be there at 5:30 am Tuesday, and we live 2 hours away.

I'm gunna try to bring my laptop with me , but DH is pointing out that he will have to guard it when I'm in surgery, and he's not too keen on that.

One thing I'm not leaving behind is my Ruthie Attitude.  I'm visualizing a successful and uneventful surgery, with lots of laughter, and an easy recovery.  Dunstan Turlach the tumor and I are getting a divorce on Tuesday and I plan to CELEBRATE....with a protein drink in a sippy cup. (wink)

Good luck with everything, I hope all the bloodwork is good.  It looks like you are well prepared.  Everything looks so nice and I love your furbabies, they are beautiful!  It will be nice to recoup at home, I had to recoup in a hotel room because I lived too far away to go home right after my surgery.  The Dr. wanted me to stay close for 2 weeks.

Tracy, good luck, and if you are taking your car, leave your laptop in the trun****il afterwards. That way your dh won't have to guard it. And to be honest it will be much afterwards before you feel up to pulling it out and using it.

Good luck and swinging cats. Liz
