I tried eating breakfast instead of my usual protein drink mixed with starbucks light .  It did not go well, I just do not feel good when I eat in the morning and I missed my frozen drink very much.

Hi Linda
I have a hard time with breakfast also.  Every now and then I try it, but I do better with liquids in the morning.

I baked the mesquite chicken breast today and tried it finally.  They are so moist and good.  Thanks for letting me know about them.

I see lots of people down here with shorts on now, but not me - I'd be freezing.  It got to about 65 degrees today.

68 degrees and sunny today. Windy though so I was out in my sleeveless down vest and a hat,lol. We cut down and into firewood a few trees that had come down in various storms so I toted wood for my exercise today instead of walking.

Hello Roz and LW's,

I had a fun weekend. I got in a lot of walking.  Around 14 miles of walking and a yoga class since noon on Friday.  My ankle is not so happy but the rest of me is.

Here's my eats:

Morning:  Particuarly hungry after hill walking
1 scrambled egg w/1 ounce cheddar cheese
then because I was still hungry -
1/2 cup cottage cheese w/ 1/4 cup blueberries

Lunch @ 3pm:
1 chicken drumstick
1/2 ounce pork rinds

Dinner:
3 oz salmon filet
3/4 cup green beans w/ 2T toasted almonds & butter

Notes:
instant coffee mixed with carnation instant breakfast. yesterday I didn't have coffee and I got such a headache..not going to happen today!
I was hungry this morning so I started eating the turkey salad.. at 857am..I noticed it was all gone... note to self..do not eat while watching tv..
I went to a 40day memorial mass and had the kibbe and cheese..I think it was the best of a bad thing..
The kibbe that I had was not store bought and not made with a ton of cracked wheat....it was definately less carb..
High calories but protein up!!
