Hello to all of my Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!

Writing everything down has helped me so much!!! I would really like to see some more posters.  Seeing what is working for others helps the rest of us put some variety into our meals.
It's very important until you reach Goal to figure out your Calories, Fats, Carbs, and Proteins so that you know what your body needs to lose and then to maintain!!!!

I like signing on and seeing Pebbles in the morning...puts a big on my face!

I actually get to sleep in on Sundays because we don't have church until 10:45, but I have to post before we leave because I never know what the day might hold.

We are suppose to be in the 40's today so hopefully some of this ice and snow will melt.   We leave for Atlanta on Friday and it is supposed to be in the 60's....can't wait!  My DH even wants to pack shorts....crazy!!!!!!!

Do you eat other things....or this always your entrie menu?  Do you know what your totals are?

Yesterday I had 2 oz boiled shrimp with low sugar ****tail sauce.  I love shrimp, but obviously it no longer loves me.  I broke out in HIVES.  Yuck.  it's been years since I've had hives from shrimp.  Do you think its because of the surgery, or that I've lost weight (only 50 lbs, have 65 to go) and it therefore affects me more?  I had cream of shrimp soup on my pre-op and post-op liquid diet and no hives.

Anyway, today's plan includes:

B:  1/2 cup greek yogurt w. sf vanilla syrup, splenda, 1/8 cup Kashi Go Lean Crunch
S:  Protein shake or coffee w. 1.5 scoops
L:  2 oz deli chicken, 1 piece string cheese
D:  2 oz grilled chicken w. pizza sauce and 1 oz. mozerella cheese
S:  1 jello sf pudding cup to take with my crushed up night time med.

totals:  669 cal, 18 fat, 29 carbs, 90 protein

You know, the greek yogurt is not holding me for breakfast.  It seems to go right through me and I'm hungry 1 1/2 hours later.  The protein shakes or protein coffees do better at keeping my hunger at bay.

Miles:
It's supposed to be 60 today, so I'm going outside.  Day 1 c25K training:  1.5 miles run/jog.

Hi Cheryl - I know what you mean about greek yogurt.  I eat it for a snack but it does not do the trick for a meal. Sorry to hear about the shrimp.  It is a go to food for me.  Are you sure it was the shrimp?

Hi Amy, Well funny you should ask because the first two times I got hives, I'd been out at a resturant, ordered shrimp then afterwards went to Wal-mart when the hives broke out.  So for a long time I thought it was the combination of the two.  Then I started getting them with just shrimp alone, but not every time I had shrimp.  Then for years, I didn't get the hives at all, and I had shrimp fairly often.  Now it looks like the allergy is back.  I took a benadryl and they went away.  I might just keep eating the shrimp with a chaser of benadryl.  I do so love shrimp.

Bummer - I fly into Reagan and am staying near the Hill.  I come regularly so let's plan it for another time.  I'd love to meet in person!

Sounds like a plan. We can meet at some place like Pentagon City or Ballston next time.
