26 degrees is pretty cold...I'd probably be one of the ones who didin't show up.
I told my DH I would like a couple pieces of SF candy from our local candy store and he always gets me flowers. We got our girls and my Mom each a bunch of tulips. I hope he takes the hint and gets me some of those instead of roses.

I just got back from the trainer. I am really enjoying my workouts again, after the initial tightness. I had a mishap with a 1/2 protein. Guess I have to take them off the pouch-approved list for a while.

Glad to hear you are enjoying working out. I've only found 2 Protein bars that my tummy will tolerate and I can only eat about 1/2 at a time. I don't eat them very often.

Took MIL to the grocery as she can't see well enough to drive any longer and then cleaned out the chicken coop since it was hight 50's and sunny today. supposed to be like this all week. I am going to try to walk every day while it is nice. it has just been too cold and we aren't prepared for this kind of weather with appropriate outdoor wear for longer than it takes to go from the car to the store,lol.

Took MIL to the grocery as she can't see well enough to drive any longer and then cleaned out the chicken coop since it was hight 50's and sunny today. supposed to be like this all week. I am going to try to walk every day while it is nice. it has just been too cold and we aren't prepared for this kind of weather with appropriate outdoor wear for longer than it takes to go from the car to the store,lol.

Wowee, did Sears have some really good deals today. I actually bought 3 new shirts, all size 14 and only $4.99 each. Couldn't get 2nd hand for that price. I did start out looking for DH valentines present and came home with stuff for me. Tomorrow is another chance for me to get something nice for DH.

I tried the Protein Powder in my oatmeal and I just couldn't do it. Maybe I put to much in it but it made it so thick. I don't eat many carbs so when I do it's a treat and the Protein just killed the satisfaction for me. I'm glad it works for you. Is that the only Protein Powder that you are getting in?

Thanks! I'm trying..and I plan on buying some different favored protein powder, right now I only have the Banana..so it really wouldn't taste that great with some of the other drinks.
I made a turkey yesterday so I have a low carb, high protein protein on hand at all times... that is if my husband doesn't gobble it all up....(lol)
Seriously, just the accountability I feel about having to post what I ate here is keeping me on the straight and narrow.. my carb intake has gone down so much..and it's showing on the scale!
I did have my three month blood work done a couple of days ago and will call to get the results by Wednesday and post here somewhere on the boards to see what I need to add or if I'm okay..
