Oh Rosa, this just breaks my heart. For someone to hurt a sweet soul like you is so horrifying to me. You were SO brave and it sounds like you are doing exactly the right thing. Do what makes you feel good right now. Know that your tool will control the quantities you eat. You are not fat and you will not get fat as you deal with this. Just hang in there and take care of your emotional and physical health the best you can. I'm so glad that you are seeking counseling too. Get lots of rest and pamper yourself. Hugs.

Well I am sending all amounts of love, prayers hugs and kisses your way. Finding a way to stay strong through something like this is a milestone, you are already way ahead of many other women thrust into this situation.
I know you do not want to tell us what has happened and how and you know what, we dont need to know. We love you, admire you and want you healthy any way that may be.
Ok that being said, I know some ex cons, that are itching go go back in......... Well not go back in, but being an ex correctional officer I am sure I can find someone. that MF needs his penis cut off and........ Ok im upset.

I was horrified to read that someone would torture you so violently. I am sooooo sorry. I am amazed and grateful to you for taking the steps to move on. I think it is empowering to all women to see someone stand up for themself. He did not hurt you because you are beautiful and thin (though you are.) He hurt you because he is a sick *******
Food, of course, is comfort and right now you need to nurture yourself. Don't punish yourself more by feeling guilty for eating a few white carbs. In the long run they will not lessen your resolve to take care of yourself.
You are doing everything in your power to work through this. Make peace with yourself.

You are a courageous and strong woman, Rosa. What happened to you has everything to do with that duplicitous, awful SOB and nothing to do with you. I am so sorry that he betrayed your trust. You are doing all the right things in getting help and garnering resources. As you can see from the number of posts, you have a lot of supporters in your corner. Please let us be there for you. Ditto what everyone else has said. Always remember that he may have used,bruised and mistreated your body, but your heart and soul,the *really* important parts of you are still pure.
He may think he triumphed over you,but we know he didn't because of the actions you took afterwards.
