Prayers please.
My mother in law went to the oncologist yesterday. We were originally told before her surgery that they felt her colon cancer was in stage one all she would need was the surgery and she should be fine. The oncologist got the pathology report back and it appears that her cancer is actually in stage 3. It has also been found in her lymph nodes. She is scheduled to start treatments next week. They will install a pump and we will go twice a week. She is a very strong personality. If anybody can beat this she can.
With all the stress I have gotten a really bad cold.Sore throat, stuffy nose, sneezing. yuck! I have been STRESS EATING!! I am up a pound and a half. I pray it is menstral cycle weight. I have to get my emotions in control and stop. We moved back home about 8years ago to help take care of my father in law. He has since passed away. I put alot of weight on then doing the exact same thing STRESS EATING. This isn't good. It is scary to know they both have had cancer. My father in law actually died from it. I try to cook healthy options for us even on the run but find it is easy to grab stuff not thinking.
I have to gain CONTROL.
Does anybody else still find themselves stress eating??????
You've definitely had your share of stress lately. I'm sorry to hear you've been handed more.
I know about stress eating and its very easy to fall back into that habit.
Just by recognizing what you're doing is the first step to knowing what's going on.
