I LOVE WI-FI :-) Post-Op Update!
It WILL BE you after surgery! Trust your surgeon and his team. Joke with them, develop a repoire, they'll do their best for you and be talking about you for days!! haha Diligently prepare for surgery and lose as much as you can pre-op to make it easy for the surgeon, and consequently YOU. Go in with no fear, just excitement and wonder, and there will be nothing to fear... Look forward to your surgery date!! It's gonna rock!
THANKS!!! Y'all are awesome and I'm glad if I can get a chuckle out of you. You are pretty funny too y'know! Guess what??
FOLEY'S OUT!!!!!!! Has been for several hours and boy was that liberating!
Surgeon just came by and concurred I am a candidate for early discharge. Tomorrow A.M about 10 or so. Very cool! Just figured out my total steps on my longest walk comes to 1700. That's probably 1700 feet or 575 yards or so. Pretty good huh? Keith showed up around 9 and left at 5. He was a trooper and walked with me every hour, pushing my IV pole while I carried a Smithsonian magazine in front of me, pretending I was reading when I was really just hinding bouncey boobles. hahaha
I've got to show you the neatest thing, A picture from the Skybridge of where a dove smacked right into, fell down, and flew away. There was enough dust on it that it left a spectacular imprint on the glass. One of those "Touched by an Angel" pics, y'know?? I took pictures and will post when I get home. :-)
If I'm on the loser's bench, how come my weight went up 7 pounds? Is that the goshdurn gas?? or the jello, popsicle, ice chips and broth? ;-)
I tell ya friends, I had no idea what to expect so I simply expected the best. I did my part and it's paying off. Amen to walk, sip, rest!!!!!
Luff & Later!
