I LOVE WI-FI :-) Post-Op Update!
Yahoooo! Just did a 200 yard sprint across the Sky Bridge at Flagstaff Medical Center. ;-)
Was standing by bed by 3 hours post-op and have been walking every chance I get. Burping and getting that gas out baby!! Even stretching my arms out has seemed to loosen the gas build up in the back and shoulder blades. Pain is moderate discomfort only. Did have two Demerol injections last night and am glad I don't feel I need it today; couldn't type worth a hoot last night. lol
Urine output is spectacular. Will have a swallow test soon to see if I'm allowed to keep sucking on all those ice chips I've been sucking on. :-P
Only one incision site pooling blood... they say it's normal. Others are just bruising.
I get to "eat" today. Good, since I'm withering away to a mere shadow of myself here. LOL
All is well so far and thanks EVERYBODY for your well wishes, thoughts, prayers and support!
Luff & Later,
Ruthie

Welcome to the loser's bench, Ruthie, glad to hear everything is doing okay.
Keep walking, sipping, and resting. Gas is a bummer so the faster it gets out the better. LOL
