Norcal meet up (x-post)
I am hosting a Meet Up on April 30th! I hope many of you can join us!
Who: WLS folks, pre op and post op.
When: April 30th at 10am
Where: Vasona Park ( 333 Blossom Hill Rd. Los Gatos, Ca 95032)
What to Bring:
1.) A sleeve friendly dish to share along with recipe cards to share so others can make your dish at home. Lets try to be creative so we can help each other find healthy new foods we can enjoy :)
2.) Clothes that are too big or too small for you to exchange as well as shoes that may no longer fit.
3.) Comfy clothes, there are many actives to participate in, you will need to paid for said activities. You may get wet and dirt so have some extra clothes.
4.) CASH: You will have to pay to park its a small fee I think around 7 dollars. There are activities like paddle boating, paddle boarding, canoeing, row boats, trikes and bikes that all charge small fees somewhere between 5 and 15 dollars. I do not think there are any ATMS on site so have your cash :)
If you are staying overnight in the area please let me know, I am more than willing to put together a night even on the 30th. I am thinking dinner and then a bar? Any input here? I will plan this when I find out if we will have any over nighters :)
