First day on the road.  I am settled in my hotel in SF.  I thought I'd check in before hitting 7-11 for some protein RTD.  So far, so good today.

B:  Protein drink with strawberries (40 g)
S- Starbucks decaf skinny latter (12 g)
L- Great Amercan Bagel Chicken salad only (12 g  but too fatty and salty) to be a regular)
S- Beef Jerky (7 g)
D- Shrimp Satay or Shrimp Basil no rice (12 g)

I work for a national nonprofit so I travel all over the country.  SF is one of mt favorite cities.  Happily, I am coming back twice in April for conferences.   Do you ever venture up here?

Still working on watching my carbs and waiting for the scale to reflect it.....

- protein coffee

B:1 egg omelet made with diced ham and havarti cheese
    1/4 C Greek yogurt w/ a bit of truvia

L:Chicken breast
    Parmesan crisps 
    ate lunch to fast and over ate it hurt ....

- protein hot choc.

D: meatloaf and green beans

Water: reached my 100 oz goal and the day is not over
Vits: on track almost done
Miles: 1 mile walk, played on Wii fit for a while did the run a couple times and some of the other games.




Height 5' 7"   ~  HW 264  ~ SW 234 ~ GW 160 or less made goal with in 1 year ~ regain now back on track

I've had 2 straight days of meetings and appointments.  Yuck.  But tomorrow I am taking a pony and heading south to warmer weather for a few days. 

Didn't post yesterday but ate very sparchly and wasn't hungry, just didn't have time.  Today i have been hungry and got in all 5 meals.  A few more carbs with the beans but not bad.

Lunch:  homemade chicken salad, 2 oz cottage cheese
Mid:  1 oz dry roasted peanuts
Dinner:  5 oz ground beef, 1 T sour cream, 1 T Pace Picante

Calories - 978
Protein - 91
Total Carbs - 14

I had 11 vials of blood drawn this week for my 1 year follow-up next week.  So far what's come in on my Kaiser page looks good.  I'm filling in my spreadsheet and will post after everything is in so that I can have the pro's take a look at my results.

I was really surprised that my random glucose was 71 on 12/8/2010 and is 87 today.  January 1st I cut out all sugar/flour/grains etc.  I wonder why it went up?

 2  protein  chai teas 

irish soda bread  home baked and  fat free  ( and utterly delicious)   ( and yes U CAN substitute a  fat free  sugar free vanilla  yogurt forthe pesky buttermilk requirement no prob) 

green fresh  sugar snap peas  with lowfat tzaziki dip  ( cucumber /dill/garlic n greek yogurt ) 

strawberries 

stir fry of fresh shrimp  , eggplant  ,  pea shoots  ,  marinated  thi sliced eye round marinated in oyster sauce in  lowfat  peanut sauce  with  wonton noodles 

dinner  ;   fresh spinach pureed with garlic 

                  beef  goulash  with mushrooms 

                  red wine 

                 possibly popcorn
