Menus and Miles Tuesday Feb. 8th

Good day Roz....and LW's.

I know I feel so much better when I plan out my meals. I made a bean salad that i will be munching on most the week...Soooo if you see that pop up daily its because I used 2 cans of beans, 1 can tomatoes, and a small can of chilis and olives...and of course its healthy stuff and the boy don't eat healhty stuff so it's all up to me to eat 8 servings of the stuff...oh joy. What was I thinking last night...lol It sure does taste yummy tho...

Anyways, here's the dealio today...

B - protein coffee (36g & 170 cal)
S - 1 egg & 2 turkey sausage links (17g & 180 cal)
L - shredded lettuce topped w/bean salad (7.5g & 128 cal)
S - apple
S - protein bar (20g & 180 cal)
D - chicken and veggies
S - ?

Protein: 80.5g w/o dinner
Calories: 658 w/o dinner

vits: on track
h2o: on track...20oz down and 76 to go minimum

Miles: well, if I get all done that I need to (mostly my paper written) then I will go for a run tonight.

Thanks...the variety is what keeps me going for sure. i have my breakfast and lunch set for tomorrow too. Now I just have to figure out what's for dinner tomorrow...thinking sirloin....mmmm

PS - how the heck do I get an apple when i reach that point??

I'm liking this idea. 

B: protein coffee, greek yogurt w. sf apricot preserves, sf van syrup, splenda & 1/8 cup Kashi Go Lean

L:  1/4 cup tuna salad, 1 piece string cheese

S:  1 scoop Nectar protein, 8 oz V8 diet splash

D: 1/2 c Hormel brand turkey chili w. beans, 1/4 c canned green beans

S:  2 tablespoons reduced fat peanut butter

Totals:  794 cal, 27 fat, 55 carbs, 93 protein

Miles today:  4.16 on treadmill, did 10 intervals at 5.0 a new personal best.  Feeling light, feeling fit.  Tomorrow is my 8 week surgiversary!.  Love my RNY!

Great Menu!  Just add 1/2 scoop to each one of your Protein drinks to increase your Whey Protein just a bit.

I need to be better at planning meals....I made a few cookbooks at sparkrecipes so I need to jump in and try some new stuff! Tonight I made a crockpot full of chili...I am craving it and the Wendys chili has too much sodium for me when it's that time of the month....blah!

L: Baked apple with splenda, pie spice and sf cool whip
S: Greek yogurt w/ sf preserves
skim milk
D: chili
skim milk

The baked apple was so good!! I hardly ever have fruit anymore and it tasted like apple pie...YUM!!

Hi Roz,
I took off this afternoon to have some blood drawn.  My OB/GYN wants to retest my testosterone and make sure it is coming up.  I enjoyed the afternoon off.

B:   Protein Decaf Coffee
S:  Fuzzy Navel Protein Drink
S:  Decaf Coffee
L:  2 Meatballs w/ marinara sauce
S:  Lemon Tea Protein Drink
D:  2.3 ozs baked parmesean crusted talapia, salad w/ ff rasp. vineg. dressing
S:  Carbmaster Ice Cream

I bought the parmesean crusted talapia at Sam's today and it is absolutely wonderful.  The whole piece is 4 ozs and has 230 calories so I only ate a little over 1/2.  I saved the other for lunch tomorrow.

Vitamins:  Done
Water:  104 ozs.
Miles:  Walked 1/2 mile at mall
