I got my request for labs from Dr. Pomp today and Liz almost fell over.

Gina and other lab experts, to me this list seems adequate. What do you all think?

Add parathyroid hormone (PTH) and you're golden! You could ask for vitamins K1 and E as well. Won't hurt a thing and would be a good to have as a baseline.

I am freaking!  I have the worst veins in the world.  It always ends up being a butterfly needle in my hand.  It is a major deal to get three tubes.  Okay, I just have to breathe.

Amy,
Hang in there.  I always had to have them do the butterfly needle in my hand and now they can pop it right in my arm vein.  It is sooo much easier now than it was before I lost weight.

Thanks, Linda.  I am glad that happened for you.  That would be a major NSV for me!

Charles,
Good luck with your labs.  Be sure to drink lots after you have it drawn.  I didn't one time and got really light headed until I finally got hydrated.
