Drinking really helps with weight loss and keeping everything moving so try not to slack on it.

You should also try to get at least 60 grams of protein from Whey protein.

One of our neighbors has his whole yard covered with Packer signs (normally it says Cowboys) and I was thinking there are probably parts of Pittsburgh that their yard would be destroyed.

We stayed up last night to watch the Pittsburgh news and saw all those crazy people burning couches and stuff.   I guess it doesn't take much of an excuse to be stupid.

I haven't decided what I'm going to spend the $50.00 on that I won.  Probably a cute outfit for FL.

I bought Ham today!!!

I didn't get a chance to eat anything until 3pm and I ended up buying some dry roasted peanuts because I didn't want fast food.

At 430, I ate the steak with the guacamole for dinner.

It's now 643pm and I'll probably just not eat anymore..
Tomorrow..I WILL get more Protein in.

All those numbers were way to confusing for me....LOL

I usually always have a Protein bar in my purse for days like this.  The Rock n Roll Bars are very filling (I can only eat 1/2 at a time) and have lots of Protein in them.

Where can I buy them?
I did buy some GNC Protein jello's snack cups. 100 calories 24 grams of protein..but YUCKKY.. so I don't think I will be eating them any time soon.  I have 2 more..I threw one of them away yesterday because it was so not tasty to me.. maybe it will be an aquired taste.

I am at my wit's end because I'm only three months out and not only have I stalled..I'm gaining weight!  It has to be the food I'm eating because I know the calories that I'm eating are way less than what I used to eat before..so I should be losing.  I'm hoping by posting her, I'll be able holding myself accountable and get some ideas for things to eat.

I tried to copy cut and paste yesterday from sparkpeople.com so next time, I'll just cut and paste and you will get the headings.  See below.

I think eggs are a great source for a pretty complete protein when you can't get a protein shake in. You might want to carry them with you when you have to go to school. I like Rockin' Roll bars too. You can get them at VitaminShoppe and even through Amazon and other online stores. The great thing about protein shakes is they don't add too many calories and almost no fat or carbs if you're watching those. I'm wondering if you might be getting too few calories in. 600-something sounds pretty low for 3 months out, but you'll want to listen to others with your surgery type on that.

I wasn't worried about my calories until a month ago when my nutrionist told me I could go down as low as 500..now I've stalled and am worried if that was the problem.

I'm going to be seeing her on Thursday and I will be asking her..
Also, I will be trying just to coun****er and protein ..which was what I was doing in the beginning.  I think I was eating about 1000 calories a day with and just concentrating on getting at least 60 grams of protein and all the water in that I'm supposed to.

I had Gastric bypass.

Also..I'm having a horrible time trying to update my picture and info... I'll be fixing it soon, as my niece will be helping me out.

With the gastric bypass we don't absorb all the Protein from food so 60 grams is way to low if it's even partly from food.  I never consumed 1000 calories until I was at my personal goal and wanted to start maintaining and I only hit 1000 then because I increased my Protein Shakes.

Everyone has to do what is best for them but this is what I recommend and If I forget and I bring it up again just remind me.

Approximately 600-700 Calories, At least 75 grams from Whey Protein, and 35 grams or less of carbs.  Protein is what burns the calories and makes the scales move down.  When you are in a stall, if you increase your calories using Protein for around 3 days and then drop back down to what you were consuming it usually gives you a jump start.
