What Do You Use to Carry Your Lunch?

Good Afternoon LWs!

I have finally decided to let myself start buying some things since it looks like I'm getting closer to surgery. I had my psych appointment last week and was cleared, and I have my appointment with my surgeon the 23rd.

Thus far I've bought measuring cups, baby food spoons, and an elliptical machine. One of these is significantly more expensive than the others, but I decided I'd use part of my tax return to get a decent workout machine for my house.

One of the things I haven't decided on yet is how I will get my lunch to work every day. I was originally going to go with one of the laptop lunch sets Eggface has on her blog, but all of those individual cups and tops would be so frustrating to wash. I'm trying to find a bento box or even just a small, divided tupperware container, but thus far I've been unsuccessfull.

Do any of you have something awesome you use? Where did you find it?

This is what I have been using for several years and love it. I have other size containers that I use, as needed, depending upon the meal.

Check out your grocery store, target, Wal-Mart, etc for other ideas.

The link you gave is just the main search page for QVC. Is there a product name?

Please dont laugh when you hear this, oh heck laugh away.
I have 10 CHEAP plastic divided containers that are microwaveable. Have a plastic top and plastic bottom. I got them FREE, with my order of chinese LOL.
I loved the containers and kept them. Hubby LOVES them and takes them to work all the time.
Good Luck finding something.

I bought an inexpensive insulated soft sided food carrier.  I put my food in 1 cup glass pyrex cups, this container can hold three 1 cup pyrex cups and two 16 oz bottles of water.  It works great for me.

I bought mine at BI-Mart, but I believe Kmart, and Walmart carry them also.

Congrats on your upcoming surgery!!

I guess it depends where you work.

I just have a lunch bag that I carry things back and forth in, but I keep the majority of things in one of my desk drawers.  I have cans of soup, protein bars, peanut butter, crystal lite,  etc.

If you are going to drink protein during the day I use a 4 section baby formula container.  Each section holds 1 scoop of protein.  I keep one at work and one in the car so I always have protein with me.  It makes it super convenient and there isn't any mess.

I use a lot of ice chips so I bought individual freezer cups and I put them in the freezer at work.

God is walking with me every step of the way. Because of HIM this is possible!!

I keep it simple....ziplock bags for some things and tiny covered containers for others.

We have a refrig and microwave at work.  But when I travel I have a soft pack cooler with an icepack.   Mine is pretty simple,  I use either a sandwich bag or the 1 cup or 1/2 cup size ziplock plastic containers for my food.  I use rubbermaid containers for tea or etc that I may want to mix my protein with.  I keep bottles of water, packets of diet swiss miss, Crystal lite, instant coffee, small containers with 1 serving of protein in each one, a large mug and large cup for mixing protein drinks,  paper plates and bowls in my desk drawer.
