Saturday: 623 calories,32 carbs,34f at and 44 protein.
Friday: 618 calories 102 carbs 34 fat and 52 protein
Thursday: 206 calories ...actually I don't think I wrote down everything that day.
Wednesday: 853 calories 104 carbs 21fat and 60 protein
I'm not going to keep going because I see all the carbs tha I'm eating..
Brew a pot of coffee (or hot chai tea) as you normally would.
In a blender bottle w/wire ball, blend 4 oz of cold liquid (Lactaid milk, soy, almond, 1/2 & 1/2, water) with a scoop and a half of protein powder such as IDS vanilla-cinnamon.
Pour the protein slurry into a huge mug and fill to the top with hot beverage. Sir and enjoy.

This morning I noticed that the Viactiv with Vitamin D and K that I've been taking have over 11 grams of carbs in them...
I can't wait to finish this batch..and then hopefully I'll be cleared to take pills..then I can take the Citrical..
I've read about people having labs done.. I have an appointment with my "doctor" not surgeon and not the nutriotionist..she is the doctor I spoke to who gave me phentermine prior to surgery.. I'm wondering if she will do lab work on me.. should I ask for them?
I found that I had to cut my b12 and my iron to 1x a week, but had to up my calcium and Vit d by double.
My protein coffee that I have been doing for the last week, has been a half scoop of protein powder with about 2 oz milk and blend well, put mixture in cup and pour coffee in it. I also add a little creamer and splenda to cover the protein taste.
I have been told by so many here to find something that works and stick to it, it really took a long time but I finally have. My weight has finally started going down as soon as I lowered my carbs more and increased my protein. I have found that I really am not hungry anymore. Good Luck!
I'm trying to do that also..today was rough..I didn't have an opportunity to eat from 9am-3pm..so I ended up going into a CVS and buying some peanuts. I didn't want to go to a Burger King or other type of fast food store AND I didn't take with me my Protein shake..that I made in the morning..what a dip**** I am..
I need to up my Protein for the day so I'm going to drink a Protein shake for dinner..my husband is making steak and I want to eat...
We are losing at about the same rate...I am 10 weeks out and have lost 24 lbs. I have been in a stall for the last 3 weeks (only lost 1 lb). I am happy with what I have lost so far. (but hope the stall willl break soon!)
I seem to not lose the 2 weeks before and during my period and then I lose steadily....hmmmmm
Foodwise I am good....getting in 70-80 gr protein...average 800 cals....less than 50 carbs
Exercise is where I need to step it up....I do 30 min cardio 3x a week and strength 2x a week....I need to double that.
You are doing great!! We just need to stay consistent...track our nutrition and stay positive! It will happen!!

With the horrible weather in Boston, I haven't been able to go to the gym as often as I would like but when I do go, I work out like it was my last day to work out. I walk all the time even if it's just food shopping, I make sure I walk around the store a few extra times and I'm seriously trying to watch my eating. Now, I'm trying to eat more protein and get in more water..
I wonder if retaining water due to my period. is also contributing to my weight loss.
I think I'm late..I don't usually keep track ..my period usually comes like clockwork..
I'll keep that in mind..
I'm also trying to get more food in in the morning.
I usually wake up, have coffee..take vitamins and then not much.. today I had a hard boiled egg and then after making lunch for my husband, I made a mixture of boiled chicken, onions and cheddar cheese.. I used to mix it with mayo when I was on the Atkins diet..but now I'm counting quality protein..so I'll keep it this way.. it's not bad..Also,. I made a Protein shake that I'm taking with me this time when I go to class.
