Brachiplasty Questions
It's hard to tell with scars. I haven't had my arms done, but I had lbl and bl a year ago. all my scars are flat now, the ones across my backside are thin and white like old stretch marks, so that wouldn't be bad. But the ones across my front are wide, red and brown, and look like a scar from cut rather than stretch marks. My bl helped the skin under my arms that flowed over my bra, so I just have flappy skin on my arms now. I'm not having surgery because I think people won't notice my flappy arms too much if I don't wave them around, but I think they would notice the scar and question what happened. If you have your arms done, just make sure the surgeon has done lots of them and look at the results of his patients that are about your age, skin color, and ethnic background to get an idea of what you could probably expect. The surgeon should have lots of photos to show you. I'm usually cold anyway so I wear alot of lace shirts and shrugs with my sleeveless stuff.
Hi everyone. I hardly ever get to be on the boards these days and I have missed you all. This is an interesting topic and I am anxious to see what other answers you get.
So far one of the few benefits I see from being a really slow loser is that I have very little saggy skin. My weight loss goes in big stalls... lose nothing for 3-4 weeks, then lose 3-5 pounds in the 4th or 5th week. I have just turned 60 so I know the loose skin is going to happen... just waiting.
BTW, Lee, your new profile pic is GREAT!
