Here's is my ex-DH's dog - which I raised for 13 years too... he loves to see me when I go to visit! I'll be surprised if he makes it through this year - he's been having a LOT of medical issues and his quality of life just is waning.... He's such a sweetheart!

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it. Took 8 months.

Ok, from the top is Pepper, also known as the evil one. He was my daughter's dog. Notice I said was. She came back home and brought him and he has been on a mission of destruction ever since. He has caused more damage then all the other dogs put together. He will eat anything and has figured out how to get into the cupboards so he can get into the trash. Neighbors have complained about his barking at night so now I have to sleep with him.
Next to him is his sister, Princess. She is a tiny, delicate thing. I seriously think there is something wrong with her, though. She can't learn the most basic things. We have a doggy door and all the dogs figured it out in a short time. Princess sits there and watches all the dogs go out and can't figure out how to do it. She is a year and a half. The funny thing is to watch all the dogs go running out and she follows them and runs into the patio door.
Under Pepper is JJ, my baby. He was the first Chihuahua we got. He is 11 and the best dog in the world. Everyone loves him, even my boyfriend who hates dogs. He is just friendly and funny. Last year he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure so I am treasuring every minute with him. The vet said he only had a year but I am praying that he lives a lot longer. I can't imagine life without my JJ.
The bottom is my Tazzie. She and JJ are the parents of Pepper and Princess. I thought they were through having puppies and they surprised us with a late in life litter. I had always promised the kids we would keep one of their puppies so that is how we wound up with Princess.
She is my best friend. Very loyal and protective. She doesn't care for new people and let's them know it.
I got her as a 6 week old puppy ten years ago. I got her because I was worried that JJ was lonely when we weren't around. That's right, I got my pet a pet.
It seems like she has been depressed ever since we kept Princess. I guess she thought her and JJ were going to be empty nesters and it didn't quite happen that way. When Pepper showed up she really wasn't happy. My grown daughter came back so I know how she feels.
