Good Morning. So, I was thinking...
Well, that's not all I was thinking abut this morning but the most pressing that I'm not too sure about.
DH and I are getting ready to go on a cruise in 2 weeks and I'm looking forward to that. This will be our first cruise and I'm a little leery about all the passport stuff and what to expect. I'm taking my protein powder and plan on having a standing order to get a pot of coffee and a quart of milk delivered to my room every day at 5AM... Wondering if I could get 1/2 & 1/2 instead of milk.
What's on your mind this morning?

My thoughts for the last few days have been my weight loss. I only lost 4 lbs in Jan. I spent most of the time between 151 and 154 bouncing around. I'm still in my 5th month. Maybe this is normal slow down. I have started going low carb to see if I can get moving again. I'm sure I'm not done but I am tired of this. As the same time, low carb seems like a diet and I did this to not have to diet. I was happily eating on my plan but sometimes my carbs were up around 40-50, calories in the 700s. Seems like I should lose on that. Oh well, as Roz says on M and M, figure out what your body needs. So I'm trying.

Gives me hope that I will get moving at a more rapid rate again soon. Everytime I seem to get rolling again, I have to start all over.

I HATE winter!!!!!
This weight maintenance thing is tough. Im still continuing to loose weight even though I have added calories and cut back on my exercise. (NEVER thought I would ever have this problem!!!)
We're looking into buying a new home...... kinda stressed over that.
I HATE winter!!!!!!
Im still dealing with the head issues of WLS. People keep saying it takes a while for your head to catch up with your body. Im beginning to think Im in a psycholgical stall. I think it maybe time to make a call to my surgeon to see if they could recommend a therapist.
I HATE winter!!!!!
And now that I read your post Gina, I can add one more. Im jealous you are going on a cruise and Im stuck in this frozen tundra. Did I mention I hate winter?! :)
Keep warm & stay safe! Cindy
On my mind...
I have decided to donate my work clothes that don't fit to "Dress for Success." Now I have to find the time to get those clothes out of my house and to the right people.
We fired a guy this week. It was a tough experience. As a career HR person, I've participated in firings and discipline more times than I care to count, but this one was hard for me. I keep rethinking the whole thing. Why is this one different? Maybe it is my attitude toward work. No luck finding a new job, but keeping up the search.
DH was supposed to be in Amarillo this week, but the weather kept him home. I'm happy to have him around.
Hoping to go to the Stock Show and Rodeo with my daughter-in-law tomorrow. Toby Keith is performing. I'll know this afternoon if I scored tickets.

Gina, last time I got my labs here, they asked me to bring my order over ahead of time so they could have it ready when I came to get my blood drawn. They had to look up some codes and ours is just a one person office. She said that would be very helpful.
A cruise sounds like fun. I can't see DH ever agreeing to go on one though. I've never been on one. Hope you have fun.
My mind is on work and getting caught up some. I need to be working on the budget for the board meeting laster this month. I finally finished filing my W2's and 1099's yesterday and got a lot of things done for the board meeting. We have a training tonight from 6-8 so it will be a long day today.
Hope everyone has a great day.

I'm trying to find boxes to start packing stuff up to move. That's somewhat of a challenge...
I LOVE cruises! BF and I were talking about going on one. He wants to take a vacation in Mar/Apr, but it seems emergency finance issues get in the way (his kids medical, etc). And I just had surgery which I'm still paying for. Why does life get in the way of fun?
Still recuperating. I vacuumed yesterday and could feel the swelling in my right breast because of it.
The scale said I'm back under 130 - YAHOO!!!
Cindy - I HATE WINTER TOO!! The forecast says "snow" but when you look at the hourly forecast its all sun (huh)??? I'll take the sun anytime! We rarely see it in the winter as it is. Still real cold though.
Ok - shower time. Need to go pick up some boxes. I wonder if I can get DS to go with me... maybe if I offer to pay for lunch or something...

Why not call and ask if they would like a copy ahead of time?
Not much on my mind, just spent all night "fighting kitties"....they wanted to sleep on top of me or next to me and I needed space. We weren't very compatible last night. So I didn't sleep well.
