Pork Rinds??
I am in my 6th month now and still having some problems with food and protein. I am not able to eat meat much at all. I am getting 99% of my protein from shakes and yogarts. I dont know if the ulcer I had back around week 5 is partly the cause or the partial bowel obstruction I had in early January has anything to do with it. I have been craving something crunchy with protein and I have starting eating a serving of pork rinds a day for about 2 weeks now. One serving has 9 grams of protein and seems to take care of my need for crunchy. So....my question is.....since I like them so much, something MUST be wrong with them!! lol.. They seem pretty low in fat 5%, and I know the sodium is a little high at 270, but I eat so little I was hoping this was something I could actually enjoy and had protein in it to boot! Ok, bring it on....does anyone else eat these little piggy delights??? Joan
I have and should eat them over the NutThins I eat. Pork rinds have something like zero carbs. Enjoy!
