2/3 Morning Coffee
Good Morning everyone! I had one heck of a night at work last night. I didn't see many patients but we had a system upgrade to our image archive and it was HELL! I'm so glad that shift is over and I only have one left for the week!
I have a wonderful smelling pot of the heartiest chilli I've ever made on the stove and I can't wait to have a bowl later today! I am going to meet Mr. Grayson today.....I hope....only slept 2.5 hours yesterday so I don't know that I'll be up for it after they pick up Halle but we'll see.
I hope everyone has a great day!!!!

I'm going to make a califlower soup today. I can't remember where I saw the receipe, and of course I didn't write it down but that is basically how I cook anyway, from memory, or what is left of it. I got ground turkey and white beans, don't think it had either of those but wanted to up the protein. It had potatoes but I'm going to leave those out in my effort to be lower carb. I'll post what I ended up with if it turns out ok.

I'm moving a little slow today, just having my first cup of coffee...got all my labs back this am, they were all good expect Iron (slightly anemic), which was common for me even prior to surgery and that I need to drink more clear fluids (slightly dehydrated), which has been the hardest thing for me to get in since surgery. I might have to find a different Iron supplement (any suggestions) and as far as drinking, I guess I just have to make myself do it. YUCK!
I've found some herbal teas I really like. I make them in a large cup, 2.5c and after 2 and my decaf protein, I have gotten most of mine in.
