Parmesan Crisps

I remember seeing a receipe for homemade parmesan crisps when I was pre op but didn't write it down at the time. I would LOVE to make some if anyone knows how.... Thanks Kristi

I haven't made them but I seem to remember seeing that you just piled grated (fresh not green can) cheese in small piles on a cookie sheet and baked it until they melt and stick together.

Price! I'm so glad you posted that it should be "real" parmesan and not the stuff in the can. I would have used that. Reminds me of the time we were making pinatas in grade school and we were supposed to bring starch. I brought a can of Niagara Spray Starch and all the other kids had the liquid stuff!!

I cut up American Cheese into little squares, put them on parchment paper, and put in the microwave until they melt and turn a light brown around the edges....yummy.  You could probably do this with any cheese.

I've done them on the griddle.  Lightly spray with PAM.  then, using about a tablesppon at a time put in little piles.  As soon as you see the edges starting to brown, flip them over.  Usually takes just a few seconds.  I then put on papertowels to blot.  Very simple, but very yummy!

Revision from Sleeve to DS (with re-Sleeve) on 10/10/17. Slow and steady ...
