One-Year Followup: Below Goal!

I saw my surgeon last week for an early 1-year followup. 

I am 5 pounds below his goal for me!  I weighed in at 140 pounds.  I am so excited!!!  I want to lose another 5 pounds to give myself a cushion for any bounce-back.  Plus, we are going to Hawaii this summer and I want to feel comfortable in a bathing suit.  No bikini for me - but some cute suits for sure!

I don't have a picture to post -  it's been a very busy time.  I will try to get one up in the next day or two.

I got a nice promotion at work also, moving into management with a 40-person department to oversee.  It has involved a lot of training and more responsibilty, but also a nice raise!  So life has been pretty good.

Just wanted to post my news - I am excited to have passed my doctor's goal.  He paid me a nice compliment - he said that I was a "real looker."   No, not a hooker -  a LOOKER!!  lol....

Yea you!!  So happy for you Linda!!

Thank you, Miss Sexy!  I am feeling pretty darn good.... I have spent so many years wishing and hoping to reach this spot and I am just thrilled to be thin and healthy.

Ahhh, Jody... you are so sweet!  I didn't feel like a looker for a very long time... in fact, I didn't want anyone to look at me at all.  But now I feel so much more confident -
